A Beautiful Night of Community, Remembrance, and Tiger Pride

Friday night's home opener against rival Mannford was a special evening for Cleveland Public Schools and our community.

While the outcome on the scoreboard was not what we hoped for, the night served as a reminder that Friday nights in Cleveland are about much more than football. As we gathered under the lights, we took time to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Our moment of silence and prayer provided an opportunity for students, staff, families, and community members to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unity that emerged from one of our nation's most difficult days.

The patriotic spirit was evident throughout the stadium. Fans proudly wore red, white, and blue, and the atmosphere reflected both pride in our country and appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy. It was truly a beautiful evening to come together as a school and community.

We are grateful for our students, athletes, coaches, band members, cheerleaders, staff, and fans who help make Cleveland such a special place. Nights like these remind us that the strength of our community is not measured by wins and losses, but by the way we come together to support one another and celebrate our shared traditions.

Now, we're looking forward to another great night on September 25 as we celebrate Homecoming 2026.
